Working with Asentiv: A Great Business Opportunity!

I ask this question because I'm recruiting at present and I'm looking for two people to join me working with Asentiv. And before you switch off, No! I'm not pitching for people to buy a franchise ...

What I'm offering is the opportunity to build their own consultancy practice in referral marketing within my franchise. Maybe as a sole offering or to complement their existing business. So, this week I thought I'd be a little self-indulgent and just talk about the three top things working for Asentiv gives me:

How energising it is to work with others who share my fundamental belief that collaboration and win/win is the way to having a fulfilling life. Whilst reaching for a goal is important, not at any cost. For me, the end does not always justify the means.

These people are clients, fellow networkers and referrals partners or my colleagues in the company and have become friends. It means getting up and going about my business knowing that I'll enjoy the company of whoever I'm meeting today. I have an inner circle of people that I can trust and know they are looking out for me while I'm looking out for them.

- I have confidence in the material I deliver!

The knowledge and skills embedded in the Asentiv programmes are first class. Put simply, it is a method of winning business that works. It is built from the experience of ground roots business people and delivered by those who apply it to attract their own clients.

However, it is not just based on our founder's experience. In every little nuance, you can relate back to the latest research findings in psychology, economics and business. When I read the works of Daniel Kahneman, Malcolm Gladwell or (my personal favourite) Adam Grant, I can see the theory behind our practice. No snake oil or get rich quick schemes here.

- I make a positive difference!

Work has never just been a way of earning money for me. Sure, it's how I earn my living, but it also needs to hit that deeper inner sense of purpose. As someone who made the transition from employment to running a consultancy, I'm on a mission to help others do the same.

Every time I run a workshop, coach a client or simply have coffee with someone, I aim to add something to their success. However, it is those special moments - those light bulb flashes - when they get that emotional kick from a novel insight. Now, you can't beat that. Those are the moments when I want to punch the air and scream "Yes!" as if I had won the World Championship.

Why? Because I know at that moment that they will never think the same again about that issue. It's true learning to me.

Sometimes it comes not as a sudden moment, but as the result of trusting our methods and trying something out even when they thought it wouldn't work. It happened recently to me when the client got his first-ever referral from making a simple "how are you" phone call to an old colleague he hadn't spoken to for ages.

What are the top three things you get out of your business? They may be completely different. However, if you or someone else you know would like to work with a company where the three top values are giving, evidence-based practice and making a difference then introduce them to me
